Architectural photography is my great passion. Light and shadow, structure and surface. Playing with geometric shapes. My focus is on highlighting details and sections. Solitary representations viewed in isolation. Released and liberated from the burden of fulfilling an overriding purpose. Only in dialog with plants and trees, which break up the clear lines and forms of the architecture with their natural presence and thus, as a counterpoint, really set the scene for what is depicted. And again and again, this magical borderline between a building and the sky. An almost sacred zone in which the opposite, tangible meets the mystical, intangible infinity. This results in pictures that are not just the pure image of a building, but works that make the art of architecture truly perceptible and experienceable.
