interior design KITCHEN SCHOOL Milan / Italy / 2018
The project is is a renovation in a typical old Milanese interior of the 1930s, we try to enhance by restoring the old cement tiles keeping the discontinuity and the different pattern. The space is a kitchen school we develop along with the Micheline star Tommaso Arrigoni, we want to reuse the old building upon his famous restaurant in Milan. Demolishing the old division wall, we encounter the problem of having a long narrow room with the new kitchen and tall ceiling, causing echoes during the lessons.

We work together with a studio of CNC wood cutting and we try to use as much as possible pine plywood having zero waste material. We obtained that by reflecting the laser cutting from concave to convex.
