The client hoped “A spacious house with a garden”. I considered the necessary place where is lived as each “units”. Generally, when I thought square rooms, those will be only connection of four directions from outside.

Then I thought that I won’t be able to plan their request on environment in this time. Secondly, I considered a circle as surface of “units”. Therefore, I thought those are connected with the outside radically, and will be openly. But the privacy is a little if those are inside, or outside.

Thus, I thought “units” should make square, and those should be connected openly the courtyard only one direction, and those should be arranged radially with connecting each corner, because “units” will be connected the outside while to protect their privacy for this environment. Outside and central courtyard. As a result, I have planned the spacious house with feeling outside at every life.
