Born in Lisbon (1963), he received a M.Arch from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical U. Lisbon, in 1988. He published the philosophy essay As Duas Vias (Lisbon, 1994) and, between 1987 and 1997, he collaborated in the philosophy journals Leonardo (1987-89) and Barbara (1997), in latter acting as chief-editor. He published and lectured extensively on Portuguese philosophy and architecture in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy. Since 2007, he has served as a Member of the Editorial Board
