Lina Malfona (1980) is an architect and a scholar with a Ph.D. in architectural and urban design. The founder of the Italian firm Malfona Petrini Architecture, she works as associate professor in Architectural Design at the University of Pisa, where she founded the research lab Polit(t)ico. Recently she taught at Cornell University AAP and was the recipient of a Fulbright grant, a Library Grant at the Getty Research Institute (Los Angeles) and the CCA Visiting Scholarship at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (Montreal).
