Natalie is an industrial designer and artist. She graduated in Industrial Design at Delft Technical University, the Netherlands, 1994. She worked in PHILIPS Product Development Domestic Appliances, and as Portfolio Manager for Product Development and Design in Leolux, a prestigious furniture company in the Netherlands for which she also made many designs under the name 'Scooter & partners'. In 2007 she founded Studio 1five2 in the Philippines, designing for Designs Ligna and several local companies. She also creates paintings and sculptures. Natalie’s style is to find the perfect blend of comfort and functionality with modern and avant garde design. In furniture design she favors the combination of hard and soft materials in order to achieve pure comfort for the human body. In her current designs she adds a contemporary and a indigenous twist to a sophisticated, functional and elegant high-end product.
