In this renovation project of a two bedroom apartment from the 90's, the main objective was to enhance the visual and spacial statement of the space, previously hindered by the existing stunted room division. By customer request, one of the existing rooms was transformed into an office/guest room, including a sliding wall solution that allows to fully open the room to the living room. The kitchen was also transformed into an open space, fully connected with the living room. This allowed to enhance the fluidity of the common areas of the apartment into a single and generous living space. By means of a thoughtful and minimalist use of building and decorative materials, the 70m2 apartment has gained plenty of natural light, which now invades all rooms and spaces.
