TOPOLOPOMPO, the Fire Kitchen | Kne'kash Living Materials

At TOPOLOPOMPO, the Fire Kitchen by AVI CONFORTI newly opened in Tel-Aviv, Alon Baranowitz and Irene Kronenberg – BK ARCHITECTURE chose solid bamboo parquet espresso color as a leading material. The parquet planks are used as carpentry boards, and lead the way from the entrance beginning as a floor, climbing on the table tops and walls, and ending as a ceiling in the gallery. The KNE’KASH world is implementation of living materials in architecture and design. We begin with the basic element- selecting the material, up to the implementation according to the Architects plan. The material and its implementation are fitted uniquely to each project. We call it LIVING MATERIALS.
