A. FIRE ESCAPE PLAN The diagram shows the two emergency stairs located inside the cores, with indication of the assembly points outside of the building. B. VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM The diagram illustrates the difference between express (Red) and local elevators (Blue). There are 4 elevators for each core for a total of 8 elevators. The yellow floors are skyloft floors, where it is possible to switch from express to local elevators. These exchange floors are located in strategic positions at the beginning of every function zone and next to gardens other and communal spaces with bar and shops. C. LOCAL VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION An innovation introduced in this building is represented by a complex system of stairs and escalators located in the middle of the building. These stairs allows to move vertically floor to floor avoiding the use of elevators, in order to move faster moving at the same times in a comfort and peaceful environment. In particular the escalator are located in strategic positions in order to connect the terraces and the main communal spaces as gardens and terraces.
