Milano, a new look | Barbara Desiderato

“Milano, a new look” concept comes from two streets that meet in the project.  On the one hand, a passion for photography. In my walks through the city I never forget my camera: I love holding on the film details and unexpected views of the city. Therefore, cards well represent different views about the city, the suggestion of playing cards is derived from the famous story of Alice in Wonderland, which represents a personal exploration of the city and the encounter with its “strange” inhabitants. The metaphor of the cards deck means the ability to surprise and unpredictability.  The message that comes from all this is an invitation to watch at the city with eyes prepared to the astonishment and wonder, leaving behind the prejudices and accepting what happens through our path as a meeting with chance.
