Casa Pilma | Azootea

The plot is located between the urban area and the mountain, in an area of steep slopes and natural caves. The proposal responds to this boundary condition: Firstly a concatenated walls and concrete slabs system compensate the efforts thrust of the mountain. Like the caves in the area, the house takes the thermal inertia of the ground. Furthermore, a light wooden structure shapes the urban part of the intervention. So the first program hosts all wet stances; kitchen and bathrooms, while the second contains the dry program, living area and bedrooms.
The property is closed to its neighbors turning to a courtyard, which is the central space, and opens onto the distant environment, the landscape through the roof garden that extends into the next mountain.

La parcela se encuentra en el límite entre el área urbana y el monte, en un terreno de grandes pendientes y cuevas naturales. La propuesta responde a esta condición de límite: Por un lado un sistema concatenado de muros y losas de hormigón, descomponen y compensan los esfuerzos de empuje de la montaña y aprovechan de ella, como las cuevas de la zona, la inercia térmica que el terreno proporciona. Por otro, una estructura ligera de madera configura la parte urbana de la intervención. Así la primera alberga todo el programa húmedo cocina y baños,  mientras la segunda alberga el programa seco, zona de estar y dormitorios. La vivienda se cierra a su entorno próximo volcándose hacia un patio, que constituye el espacio central, y se abre hacia el entorno lejano, el paisaje, a través de la cubierta jardín que se prolonga en el monte próximo.
