Quirky Romantic Parisian Studio | The New Design Project

Small space, bags of character. The challenge in this 30m2 (320ft2) studio was to retain the quirkiness of the space whilst making it more practical. We decided to create an alcove bedroom with a half height wall to improve the general flow whilst keeping the apartment bright and airy. A simple and monochromatic palette was used in the "utilitarian areas" (kitchen, bathroom) to let the ambient charm shine through. Most of the items are flea market finds (Paris, London, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue) but we mixed vintage with industrial pieces, and high street with designer, to create an overall more eclectic look.
