Depuis 2007, meamea est spécialisée dans la fabrication de panneaux acoustiques végétaux.
L'entreprise utilise un matériau innovant issu du monde du végétal : le lichen scandinave stabilisé.
Cette mousse 100% naturelle est préservée grâce à une nouvelle technologie. Elle ne nécessite alors ni
entretien, ni eau, ni luminosité. Ses propriétés très performantes d'atténuation acoustique en font un
matériau naturel, écologique et design parfaitement adapté aux aménagements de bureaux, accueils,
commerces, espaces publics...
Actuellement en pleine expansion, meamea a décidé de construire un nouveau siège social afin
d'agrandir sa surface de production et repenser son espace de bureaux. Le nouveau bâtiment de caractère
industriel est caractérisé par sa sobriété et par ses accès qui viennent en négatif, comme creusés dans la
volumétrie générale. Les parois de ces espaces sont teintées du vert couleur référente au logo de la société.
L'effet est accentué la nuit par un jeu d'éclairage.
L'aménagement intérieur est imaginé de manière à créer une ambiance de travail à la « Google
attitude ». En effet, après avoir longé le long mur végétal, l'espace bureau, dans l’esprit ouvert et convivial,
est équipé d'une cuisine et d'un salon. Meamea a dès le début du projet indiqué aux architectes sa volonté
de bien-être au travail. Les employés passent du temps au travail et doivent s’y sentir bien. Tendance dans
les grandes firmes et certaines anciennes start-up, cette configuration a l'avantage de faciliter les échanges,
tisser des liens entre employés, créer une motivation générale. Elle permet aussi de donner une image
dynamique de l'entreprise aux visiteurs et clients potentiels.
Meamea fait partie des entreprises dans le vent, innovatrice dans son concept design et dans son
choix d'adopter ces nouveaux lieux de travail, devenus ces dernières années un enjeu majeur du monde
professionnel.

designer material perfectly adapted to offices, receptions, shops, public areas … layout.
Currently in full expansion, meamea has decided to build a new head office in order to extend its
production area and redesign its office space. The new building, of an industrial style, is characterized by its
sobriety and its entrances which are designed in negative, as digged in the general volumetry.
The walls of these spaces are tinted in the green color of the company symbol. During the night the color is
accentuated by light effects.
The interior layout has been designed in order to create a working atmosphere as the “Google style”.
Indeed, after going along the plant wall, the office area is equipped with a kitchen and a living room, thought
like an open and convivial space.
Since the beginning, meamea has paid a particular attention to a well-being atmosphere at work. Employees
spend time at work so they must feel good there. It’s a trendy way of thinking in most of the big companies
and some of old start-up.
