The building is the centre where all new Came Domotic 3.0 technology is experimented.
The Friuli home of Came S.p.A, leader in the field of automation, security and automatic access control, covers an area of about 3,600 square metres and is one of the most innovative, technological office buildings in Italy.

The solutions adopted in the headquarters of the Treviso-based company, which has 1,370 employees worldwide - divided between the historic site of Dosson di Casier (TV), Sesto al Reghena (PN) and the international subsidiaries - are a showcase for much of the company’s know-how.
The building is the centre where new technology with a low energy impact is experimented, with a particular focus on working conditions for employees.

The building covers three floors, arranged in a triangle, with an internal garden. On the ground floor, there is a reception, meeting rooms, the showroom, the auditorium, the training room and the bar area. The upper floors, characterised by different dominant colours, orange, acid green and purple respectively, are home to large, bright open-plan offices and meeting rooms. Each floor has a relaxation area with a plasma TV and a dining area, in which to enjoy a break.

Black, the dominant colour of the exterior façade of the building, blends with the artificial blue of the dimmed lights that delineate the outline from sunset until dawn. The same colours blend the façade in with the interiors, where the simple decor "breaks up" the succession of glass and steel.

The building has been automated using the CAME home automation system: each command, access or light source is completely controlled by the system. The system was built using 9 backbones, interconnected via Ethernet, which control almost 500 home automation modules.

The Came Domotic 3.0 security system boasts more than 230 inputs distributed over 3 different systems. There are wall and ceiling sensors in the building, both infrared and dual technology, chosen on a room by room basis. Sensors have been installed on the magnetic contacts of all the doors and windows to control opening.

The fire detection system consists of more than 150 smoke detectors, heat sensors and buttons in all areas: in the event of an alarm, the system will activate optical/acoustic warnings and unlock all the exit doors.

The complex operation of these systems is regulated from a server that acquires all the statuses of the systems and, in accordance with well-defined rules, manages activation and deactivation of the security and video surveillance systems.
The building also has no fewer than 1,700 Domino Led LED bulbs, with a view to enabling energy savings of around 35%.

The new centre has been built using high-quality, innovative materials with an excellent design, in order to test new technologies whose aim is to have a low energy impact. All the choices have a common aim: to consider the aspect of eco-sustainability of the project and promote the welfare of employees through modern and comfortable environments.
