Inspiration for the Cooper design has been drawn from the colourful city life of Cairo. Cooper quotes the round sieves used for cooking in Egypt, consisting of a grid structure surrounded and fixed by a round wooden frame. The two-piece body of the Cooper side table sits on three steel legs, which in turn are fit into a ring. The table top can be removed and used as a tray. Its delicate pattern creates a sense of transparency and lightness, hiding the objects stowed away underneath. An Arabic tile pattern has been stripped down to its geometric base elements in order to generate a new contemporary pattern that is stamped into the Cooper table top. The wooden body consists of several veneer layers. Cooper is available in different colour combinations: whitened beech or stained dark beech combined with coral or nubia.
Cooper is available at the online store: shop.ninamair.at
Material: beech, steel powder coated
Dimensions: Ø 55 cm H=47 cm
