Its a Mixed use Social/cultural bridge. Instead of beeing a structure that connects to parts of a city, it becomes a city in it self. A place of meeting, a place of expressing ourselves.

This bridge is a replacement of the Ponte da verrazzano in Florence italy.

The Project creates a continuity of the park on both city sides.
IT becomes a meeting place for cultural and social events with its public spaces- round theatre for contemporary dancing, exhibition spaces, recreation and coffe shops, student workshops, childrens library and Photography gallery.

It becomes a city in itself, right infrot of the Old bridge(Ponte Vecchio) as a mixed use Urban structure of the middle ages, the City bridge becomes an innovative expression, an eccho of the historical bridge.A Monument of dynamics, life on top of the steaming water of the Arno river. it simulates the flexibility of the material created by the water.
