D&R Headquarter | OSO Architecture

D&R Headquarter office is located in Mecidiyekoy, Istanbul with their offices within an area of 2200 m². D&R’ s office has a staff consisting of 190 personnel, which whole areas of the office spaces were placed into three different floors. Highly compact and designed in accordance with an intense requirement program, the spaces have been generally planned in an open-office construction to relieve the intensity and at a directly accessible position. The business field of the company is basically selling the whole products of cultural, art and entertainment concepts. Which means company is selling all kind of books and music products, moreover electronic equipment and toy on their own stores and their own internet platforms. In this sense, they have a quite young and dynamic staff integrated with the digital environment. Moving from this point, the interior concept setup is designed to be matched with the general characteristic of the office and the personnel profile. Accordingly, the modern and contemporary design language as adopted is blended with the color use, and vitality and dynamism are brought to the interior spaces of D&R’ s office. Moreover, there is a reception wall and a reception desk that shapes the first impressions of the users and visitors about the brand at the entrance hall of the office. In the design of this wall and desk, which were inspired from the books and letters.  At the D&R’ s office where the general layout setup is planned as an open office, the recreation areas such as coffee break points are integrated into the open office. Thus, it is encouraged to increase the internal communication at the office and to trigger the creative ideas.

In general sense, the main conceptual criteria of D&R office space was determined to be designed according to the company identity, field of business and user profile. Consequently our aim is to give the sense of belonging to this space for users and visitors.
