Óptica Zenvisión

Zenvisión is a clear commitment to uniformity that uses a single material generating a warm, pleasant, quiet and bright space. We chose grooved medium density boards commonly used to make curved walls but taking advantage, in this case, of its less noble side.

With this material both the furniture that the optician had once been covered as well as new ones that have solved the functional deficit that they had, have also been located in the vertical walls hiding the access doors to the cabinets and the warehouse. This solution solves, economically, both the use and the new image of the premises.

The result is a sober and elegant character socket. A basement that serves the optics on a white background that enhances the brightness of the room.

Finally, the cabinet was divided in two, thus doubling the availability of spaces, this division allows combining optometry consultations with those dedicated to visual therapy.

On the facade the wood has been repaired in poor condition and painted to prevent further degradation. Last but not least, the showcase design solution has been simplified by giving the product a total prominence.

This project has been awarded by the Official College of Architects of Galicia (COAG) with the Grand Prize of the Area of ​​Contribution to Architecture 2019 for the firm commitment in the use of a unique material that allows the resolution of many of the elements that would require the program, and to perfectly demonstrate the importance and weight of the project strategy in the final success of a job, beyond the budgetary conditions.

The prizes "Great Area of ​​Contribution of the Architecture" are a bet of the College of Architects of Galicia in the province of Pontevedra and Ourense, for the recognition of the work of architects, developers, builders, builders and other necessary collaborators, in the works and Quality projects developed in the neighborhoods of Vigo, Ourense and Pontevedra.

The selection made shows that Architecture is possible and close. That the agents involved and recognized in the works presented, from their responsibility and the scale of the intervention, can contribute to the environment being better, and is an expression of the architectural culture and collective values ​​of this society and this time.

The prizes "Great Area of ​​Contribution to Architecture" have always tried to be a vehicle of communication with society, which in the immediate environment, and that arise from society itself, whether it is of quality, as a project or as work, to over the previous year

In 2019, 75 proposals were presented, with very different scales and locations.

Zenvisión es una clara apuesta por la uniformidad que utiliza un único material generando un espacio cálido, agradable, tranquilo y luminoso. Se optó por tableros de media densidad ranurados utilizados comunmente para realizar paramentos curvos pero aprovechando, en este caso, su lado menos noble.

Con este material se han forrado tanto los muebles que contaba antiguamente la óptica como unos nuevos que han solventado el déficit funcional que tenían, también se han ubicado en los paramentos verticales ocultando las puertas de acceso a los gabinetes y al almacén. Esta solución resuelve, de modo económico, tanto el uso como la nueva imagen del local.

El resultado es un zócalo de carácter sobrio y elegante. Un basamento que da servicio a la óptica sobre un fondo blanco que potencia la luminosidad del local.

Por último, se dividió el gabinete en dos, duplicando así la disponibilidad de espacios, esta división permite combinar las consultas de optometría con las dedicadas a terapia visual.

En fachada se ha reparado la madera en mal estado y pintado para evitar que se siga degradando. Por último, y no por ello menos importante, se ha simplificado la solución de diseño del escaparate dotando al producto de un total protagonismo.

Este proyecto ha sido galardonado por el Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Galicia (COAG) con el Gran Premio del Área de Contribución a la Arquitectura 2019 por el firme compromiso en el uso de un material único que permite la resolución de muchos de los elementos que requerirían el programa, y ​​para para demostrar perfectamente la importancia y el peso de la estrategia del proyecto en el éxito final de un trabajo, más allá de las condiciones presupuestarias.

Los premios "Gran Área de Contribución de la Arquitectura" son una apuesta del Colegio de Arquitectos de Galicia en la provincia de Pontevedra y Ourense, por el reconocimiento del trabajo de arquitectos, desarrolladores, constructores, constructores y otros colaboradores necesarios, en las obras y proyectos de calidad desarrollada en los barrios de Vigo, Ourense y Pontevedra.

La selección realizada demuestra que la Arquitectura es posible y cercana. Que los agentes intervinientes y reconocidos en las obras presentadas, desde su responsabilidad y la escala de la intervención, puedan contribuir a que el ambiente sea mejor, y sea una expresión de la cultura arquitectónica y los valores colectivos de esta sociedad y esta vez.

Los premios "Gran Área de Contribución a la Arquitectura" siempre han tratado de ser un vehículo de comunicación con la sociedad, que en el entorno inmediato, y que surgen de la sociedad misma, si es de calidad, como proyecto o como trabajo, a lo largo de año anterior

En el año 2019 se presentan 75 propuestas, de escalas y ubicaciones muy diferentes.
