The apartment belongs to a couple who lives in Portugal, but has invested in the property to facilitate when visiting the family, which lives in Curitiba. Coming to Brazil is part of their routine, so the owners longed for a functional and integrated layout, which would facilitate social interaction and give more spaciousness to the 85m² apartment.
The idea was to start by selecting the finishes and putting together a concept in balance with the urban context. The color palette is intense, with the contrast of white, gray and the wooden panels, bringing warmth to the environments.
The opposition of materials and colors highlights the signature design furniture and lighting, resulting in a clean-looking apartment with earthy tones that contrast with the blue focal point of the social area.
The blue paint and wooden panels bring to this apartment a modern look, the result of a proposal that seeks to escape from the excesses. The furniture is part of the chosen palette and brings unity to the environments in the social area.
The expansion of the social area was made possible by opening and connecting a home office and reading area to the social area. The side shelf panel gives lightness to the wooden volume that frames the space.
In the intimate area, the guest bedroom is bright and light. With a white countertop on the side of the mirrored wardrobe, we’ve created a linear layout with maximum space utilization.
In the couple's suite, we chose to work the textures and colors in neutral tones. The upholstered headboard contrasts with the gray paint. The abstract picture, which with its colors and volumes, easies the atmosphere.
