We are facing a complete refurbishment of this house, located in Castellón, with the aim of transforming it into a fun and cheerful flat, inspired by the colors of the "bel paese". Upon crossing the threshold, ceilings and walls merge into a Klein Blue that frames the photo of the Faraglioni di Capri.

A latticework partially reveals the living area. A space that invites dialogue and meeting between co-tenants. From here, a game of diagonals, full and empty, marks the way to the rooms. We were inspired by a different Italian town for each bedroom.

The smallest one, has a mural made from an image of Rome, captured by Ana on one of our trips. In the one at the back, vintage Italian calligraphy prints wink at Florence while a terracotta sunset embraces the bed. In the middle ones, illustrations, photos and shades are inspired by two other cities.Napoli, Gabriele’s hometown, represented with strong colors that refer to the tuff stone of its emblematic buildings and its gulf. And Palermo with its legendary testa di moro, the pink of the football team and the deep blue of its sky.

The bathrooms are designed to combine elegance and comfort, and to move away from the stereotype of the typical student flat. The first one is characterized by the staggered placement of the ceramic pieces that give it a material aspect. The second, by a delicate textile finish in cream tones.

The kitchen is conceived as an independent unit that allows its use without causing discomfort. Its materials and colors follow in ink and harmony with the rest of the house.
