A new extension with associated outdoor living areas are proposed on an existing heritage house in Glen Eira.
Simple geometric forms were introduced, to create a contemporary addition that pays hommage to circular motifs, semi-circular staircases and arched porticos that exist on the main house. Living areas extend out onto a large circular deck that offsets a new BBQ area.
A simple materials palette with copper cladding is proposed, to work in harmony with existing tones and materials.
All permits have been granted and construction is expected to commence soon! Stay tuned for more updates.
