The open space, characterized by a central column on which the lowered floor beams of an industrial building insist, becomes a neutral container to house an artist's studio. The crossed layout of the beams, rotated 45 degrees, is reproposed in the position of the new vertical partitions - not full height - creating around the central pivot of the single pillar a sort of "pinwheel," a useful expedient to divide the space into distinct functional spaces distributed on two levels. In the mezzanine, largely open to the open space below, there is a continuous bookcase that follows the perimeter of the balustrade. The remaining area on the upper level houses a more private space, separated from the rest of the room by large fixed glass windows facing the double-height void.

The fixed furnishings are made of gray ash wood, while the flooring horizons are made of cement resin on the ground floor and rubber on the upper level.
