Bardonecchia | Lupettatelier

Il progetto a Bardonecchia prevede la ristrutturazione di una casa di montagna, in legno.
Questo materiale naturale, l'Abete, è stato utilizzato come traccia distintiva per scolpire gli spazi e ricoprire l’involucro.
Il legno viene materializzato anche per gli arredi fissi che occupano la maggior parte dell’appartamento, ad esclusione di quelli mobili che sono in tessuto.
Accanto al legno viene utilizzato il metallo, brunito, che sostiene i piani grezzi e disegna parte della cucina. Anche le maniglie sono state studiate ad hoc per il progetto, accanto all’iconica conca disegnata da Patricia Urquiola.
La zona giorno, protagonista indiscussa della casa, è illuminata dalla luce naturale che entra prepotentemente dalle finestre che affacciano sulle montagne circostanti.
Interno ed esterno sembrano dialogare, per forme e materiali, creando un continuum spaziale.

The project in Bardonecchia involves the renovation of a mountain house, made of wood.
This material, natural in Spruce, was used as a distinctive trace to sculpt the spaces and cover the envelope,
Wood is also materialized for the fixed furnishings that occupy most of the apartment, excluding the movable ones that are made of fabric.
Alongside wood, metal, burnished, is used to support the raw countertops and draw part of the kitchen. Even the handles were designed specifically for the project, alongside the iconic conca designed by Patricia Urquiola.
The living area, the undisputed star of the house, is illuminated by the natural light that enters overbearingly from the windows overlooking the surrounding mountains.
Interior and exterior seem to dialogue, in terms of forms and materials, creating a spatial continuum.
