AN OFFICE RENOVATION THAT CONNECTS WITH THE COMPANY
The project for the new offices in Seville of Rocknrolla Producciones, a promoter of cultural and musical events, arises from the very essence of modernity and dynamism that guides the company.
In the first visit we made to the raw space we found a space of 4m high and more than 13m deep with a single facade facing north, two longitudinal naves and 5 transversal bays, illuminated by two skylights.
A part of the space that adjoined the roofs had had recurrent problems with leaks, so the space had an aged patina that we found very attractive.
The renovation sought to create a space that reflected the identity of the company, a balance between the pre-existing, which represents the non-commercial cultural and musical world in which it moves, and the sophisticated, which reflects the good work and elegance of the brand.

PASSIVE SOLUTIONS
Despite the tight program of needs that the client marked us, another clear idea that we had to improve the functionality of the offices was that a space with so much depth and that was going to function as a work space had to have a patio.
In this way, the advantages of a south orientation would be used to introduce natural light, cross ventilation would be allowed, and it would serve as a visual escape space for the users of the space.
These are passive solutions that help us save electricity and improve the comfort and well-being of the user at almost zero cost.

LEVERAGING THE MORPHOLOGY OF THE SPACE
Finally, we took advantage of the distribution of the naves and the bays to establish two heights in the space. One of the naves would collect the more contained program with lower height and the other the more open and flexible program, which would take advantage of the full height of the space.
In this second bay, the access to the space, the lobby and the new patio were introduced, so that a complete reading of the offices could be made from its entrance. To reinforce this idea, we used the resource of the arch and the wire barrel vault that is recognizable from the access facade to the patio.

NATURAL MATERIALS AND IN THEIR SIMPLEST EXPRESSION
In line with the company's values, a palette of natural materials is used for the renovation that, together with vegetation and natural light, generate a pleasant environment to go motivated.
The height of the space is organized into two parts. A baseboard that is materialized with a more formal style, finished elements with fine finishes. And a higher area with a more decadent style leaving the new materials natural or recognizing the previous aged patina.

CUSTOM ELEMENTS
Lighting, office ceilings and some loose furniture are designed to measure. They are manufactured from simple resources that end up creating an intentional trompe l'oeil that seeks to continue mixing brutalism with sophistication.

A SPACE THAT CARES FOR THE TEAM
In the end, in the project we have followed the guidelines that we have followed in other office renovation projects that we have carried out, that is, to maintain the balance between comfort and functionality to generate a coherent and representative image of the company with the objective of achieving a workspace that helps to care for the well-being of the user and improves the productivity of the team.

UNA REFORMA DE OFICINAS QUE CONECTA CON LA EMPRESA

El proyecto para las nuevas oficinas en Sevilla de Rocknrolla Producciones, una promotora de eventos culturales y musicales, surge de la propia esencia de actualidad y dinamismo que guía a la empresa.

En la primera visita que hicimos al local en bruto nos encontramos con un espacio de 4m de altura y más de 13m de profundidad con una sola fachada orientada al norte, dos naves longitudinales y 5 crujías transversales, iluminado por dos lucernarios.

Una parte del local que lindaba con cubiertas había tenido recurrentes problemas de filtraciones, con lo que el espacio tenía una pátina envejecida que nos resultó muy atractiva.

La reforma buscaba crear un espacio que reflejara la identidad de la empresa, un equilibrio entre lo preexistente, que representa el mundo cultural y musical no comercial en el que se mueve, y lo sofisticado, que refleja el buen hacer y la elegancia de la marca.

SOLUCIONES PASIVAS

A pesar del ajustado programa de necesidades que nos marcó el cliente, otra de las ideas claras que teníamos para mejorar la funcionalidad de las oficinas era que un local con tanta profundidad y que iba a funcionar como espacio de trabajo debía contar con un patio.

De esta forma se aprovecharía de las ventajas de una orientación sur para introducir luz natural, se permitirían ventilaciones cruzadas y serviría como espacio de fuga visual para los usuarios del espacio.

Se trata de soluciones pasivas que nos ayudan a ahorrar en electricidad y mejoran el confort y el bienestar del usuario a coste casi 0.

APROVECHANDO LA MORFOLOGÍA DEL LOCAL

Finalmente aprovechamos la distribución de las naves y las crujías para establecer dos alturas en el espacio. Una de las naves recogería el programa más contenido con menor altura y la otra el programa más abierto y flexible, que aprovecharía toda la altura del local.

En esta segunda crujía se introdujo el acceso al local, el vestíbulo y el nuevo patio, de forma que se hiciera una lectura completa de las oficinas desde su entrada. Para reforzar esta idea usamos el recurso del arco y la bóveda de cañón alámbrica que se hace reconocible desde la fachada de acceso hasta el patio.

MATERIALES NATURALES Y EN SU EXPRESIÓN MÁS SENCILLA

En línea con los valores de la empresa, se usa una paleta de materiales naturales para la reforma que, junto a la vegetación y la iluminación natural, generan un ambiente agradable al que ir motivado.

La altura del local se organiza en dos partes. Un zócalo que se materializa con un estilo más formal, elementos terminados con acabados finos. Y una zona alta con un estilo más decadente dejando al natural los materiales nuevos o reconociendo la pátina envejecida previa.

ELEMENTOS A MEDIDA

Luminarias, techos de despachos y parte del mobiliario suelto se diseñan a medida.

Se fabrican a partir de recursos sencillos que terminan creando un trampantojo intencionado y que busca seguir mezclando brutalismo con sofisticado.

UN ESPACIO QUE CUIDA DEL EQUIPO

Al final en el proyecto hemos seguido las pautas que hemos seguido en otros proyectos de reforma de oficinas que hemos realizado, es decir, guardar el equilibrio entre confort y funcionalidad para generar una imagen coherente y representativa de la empresa con el objetivo de conseguir un espacio de trabajo que ayude a cuidar del bienestar del usuario y mejore la productividad del equipo.
