House with an island | Hanna Pietras

At the heart of the 500-square-meter house is the use of natural materials and their unique treatment, which gives the interiors a unique character. Wood, the main character of the story, is here not only a building material, but even a decoration. In every nook and cranny of the house you can see intricately crafted details that emphasize its unique character. This environmentally friendly approach to design means that residents can enjoy not only beauty, but also a sense of peace, knowing that their home is a place that respects nature.

“Warm earth tones, soft beiges and muted browns create a color palette that envelops the home's residents in a pleasant feeling of comfort and peace. It's a place where every element has been carefully considered to create an oasis of peace and harmony in a fast-changing world” says architect Hanna Pietras.

Light and comfort

The interior design by Hanna Pietras' studio is not only about aesthetics, but above all about a story that wants to be told. It's an invitation to discover beauty in simplicity, to appreciate nature and to enjoy every moment spent even if only in the living room. In this project, the architect focused on designing an open space with large glazing, so you get the impression that the garden even “comes inside” the house. 

“Natural light plays a big role in this living room. There is a lot of it and I decided to use it as a decorative element as well. It beautifully illuminates the wood and light upholstery on the sofas. This space is ideal for relaxing by the fireplace or for socializing. My clients wanted this area to be open, inviting,” says the architect. “Natural materials, bright colors, different textures, stronger decorative accents also gave this space a certain dynamism.” - He adds.

Also noteworthy in this interior design is the kitchen, which can be both open and closed thanks to stylish doors, giving visual comfort to guests sitting at the dining table in the dining room, directly adjacent to the kitchen. Its focal point is a sizable island, which is the architects' original idea. It has plenty of storage space and at the same time plenty of countertop display. The whole interior is kept in light shades, which perfectly harmonizes with the floor. These are travertine tiles, which were in this interior early on, and Hanna Pietras couldn't imagine replacing them with others.

An enclave for children and parents

The upstairs of the house, on the other hand, is a private area except for... an open hallway with a pool table, which is a favorite pastime of all the residents - although, by their own admission, it is difficult for them to find time to play together. Once you get past it, however, you end up in the private area proper, with the master bedroom, bathrooms and children's rooms. 

“I wanted this part of the house to be consistent with what we see on the first floor, but at the same time I wanted to personalize it to the needs of the children. In each bedroom you will find wood, but the color palette already used is adapted to the particular tastes of the youngest residents” adds Hanna Pietras.

Interiors created by Hanna Pietras exude refined luxury and harmony with nature, and natural stone plays a key role in them. Its presence in the bathroom gives a unique aesthetic charm, but also adds solidity and elegance.

In addition, natural stone perfectly harmonizes with the architects' vision of durable and timeless solutions. Its texture and colors give the bathroom a unique, organic look that reconciles with nature. Introducing this material into projects is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also a practical approach to design, ensuring durability and functionality for many years of use.

W sercu domu o powierzchni 500 m2 leży zastosowanie naturalnych materiałów i ich wyjątkowa obróbka, co nadaje wnętrzom niepowtarzalny charakter. Drewno, główny bohater tej historii, jest tu nie tylko materiałem budowlanym, ale wręcz dekoracją. W każdym zakamarku domu można dostrzec misternie wykonane detale, które podkreślają jego wyjątkowy charakter. To przyjazne dla środowiska podejście do projektowania sprawia, że mieszkańcy mogą cieszyć się nie tylko pięknem, ale także poczuciem spokoju, wiedząc, że ich dom jest miejscem, które szanuje naturę.

„Ciepłe odcienie ziemi, delikatne beże i stonowane brązy tworzą paletę barw, która otula mieszkańców domu w przyjemnym uczuciu komfortu i spokoju. To miejsce, gdzie każdy element został starannie przemyślany, aby stworzyć oazę spokoju i harmonii w szybko zmieniającym się świecie” mówi architektka Hanna Pietras.

Światło i wygoda

Projekt wnętrz autorstwa pracowni Hanny Pietras to nie tylko estetyka, lecz przede wszystkim historia, którą chce się opowiadać. To zaproszenie do odkrywania piękna w prostocie, do doceniania natury i do czerpania radości z każdego momentu spędzonego chociażby w salonie. W tym projekcie architektka skupiła się na zaprojektowaniu otwartej przestrzeni z dużymi przeszkleniami, dzięki czemu można mieć wrażenie, że ogród wręcz „wchodzi” do środka domu.

„W tym salonie dużą rolę odgrywa światło naturalne. Jest go sporo i postanowiłam wykorzystać je jako element również dekoracyjny. Pięknie rozświetla drewno i jasną tapicerkę na sofach. Jest to przestrzeń idealna do odpoczynku przy kominku, czy do spotkań towarzyskich. Moi Klienci chcieli, aby ta część była otwarta, zapraszała do siebie” mówi architekta. „Naturalne materiały, jasne kolory, różne faktury, mocniejsze akcenty dekoracyjne nadały tej przestrzeni również pewnej dynamiki” - dodaje.

W tym projekcie wnętrz na uwagę zasługuje również kuchnia, która może być zarówno otwarta, jak i zamknięta dzięki stylowym drzwiom, co daje komfort wizualny gościom siedzącym przy stole w jadalni, sąsiadującej bezpośrednio z kuchnią. Jej centralnym punktem jest sporych rozmiarów wyspa, będąca autorskim pomysłem architektek. Jest w niej wiele miejsca do przechowywania i jednocześnie wiele do ekspozycji na blacie. Całe wnętrze utrzymane jest w jasnych odcieniach, co świetnie zgrywa się z podłogą. Są to płytki z trawertynu, które w tym wnętrzu były już wcześnie i Hanna Pietras nie wyobrażała sobie zamiany ich na inne.

Enklawa dzieci i rodziców

Natomiast piętro domu to część prywatna z wyjątkiem… otwartego korytarza ze stołem bilardowym, który jest ulubioną rozrywką wszystkich mieszkańców – chociaż jak sami przyznają, trudno jest im znaleźć czas na wspólną grę. Kiedy jednak miniemy go, trafiamy do właściwej strefy prywatnej z główną sypialnią, łazienkami i pokojami dzieci.

„Chciałam, żeby ta część domu była spójna z tym, co widzimy na parterze, ale jednocześnie zależało mi na jej personalizacji względem potrzeb dzieci. W każdej sypialni znajdziemy drewno, ale już zastosowana paleta kolorów dostosowana jest do poszczególnych upodobań najmłodszych  mieszkańców” dodaje Hanna Pietras.

Wnętrza stworzone przez Hannę Pietras emanują wyrafinowanym luksusem i harmonią z naturą, a kamień naturalny odgrywa w nich kluczową rolę. Jego obecność w łazience nadaje niepowtarzalny urok estetyczny, ale również dodaje jej solidności i elegancji.

Ponadto, kamień naturalny doskonale współgra z wizją architektek, która stawia na trwałe i ponadczasowe rozwiązania. Jego faktura i kolorystyka nadają łazience wyjątkowy, organiczny wygląd, który zjednuje się z naturą. Wprowadzenie tego materiału do projektów to nie tylko kwestia estetyki, ale także praktycznego podejścia do projektowania, zapewniającego trwałość i funkcjonalność przez wiele lat użytkowania.
