Il progetto consiste nella ristrutturazione di un appartamento esistente costruito nel 1966.
Lo scopo dell'intervento è quello di ottimizzare il più possibile la piccola metratura dell'appartamento rendendolo estremamente confortevole sia per l'utilizzo da parte del proprietario che per l'affitto per brevi periodi da parte dei turisti durante l'estate.
Per raggiungere l'obiettivo sono stati completamente rifatti gli impianti e le finiture e si è data grande importanza al lavoro della falegnameria: i mobili assolvono infatti anche alla funzione di dividere i diversi ambienti della casa.
Tutti le mura interne sono state demolite e ricostruite secondo il nuovo schema planimetrico individuando un unico ambiente soggiorno-pranzo, una cucina collegata ad esso con una grande apertura, una camera da letto dotata di cabina armadio, un disimpegno che conduce al bagno.
Per massimizzare la capienza dell'appartamento è stato ricavato uno spazio per un letto ad una piazza e mezzo nel soppalco sopra il disimpegno cui si accede con una scala incassata nelle pannellature in legno.
I pavimenti sono stati sostituiti con parquet in bamboo, nel bagno si è optato per i rivestimenti in mosaico.
Le pareti sono state completamente riprese e tinteggiate di un grigio tenue lievemente scaldato da componenti di terra.

The project refers to a renovation intervention on an existing apartment dating back from 1966.
The aim of the intervention was to optimize the small size of the apartment as much as possible, making it extremely comfortable both for the use by the owner and for renting for short periods by tourists during the summer.
To achieve the goal, all the systems and finishes have been completely redone and great importance has been given to the carpentry work: in fact, the furniture also performs the function of dividing the different rooms of the house
All the partition walls have been demolished and rebuilt according to the new planimetric scheme, identifying a living-dining room, a kitchen connected to it with a large opening, a bedroom with a walk-in closet and a hallway leading to the bathroom.
To maximize the capacity of the apartment, a space has been created for a queen size bed in the loft above the hallway which is accessed by a staircase embedded in the wooden paneling.
All the floors have been replaced with bamboo parquet, except for the bathroom, covered in mosaic.
The walls have been completely restored and painted in a soft gray slightly warmed by earth components.
