“Sutton Tower embraces the elegance of New York by incorporating modern and classic elements that allow it to become a defining new presence on the Manhattan skyline,” said designer Thomas Juul-Hansen. “We aimed to design a building that would offer a different perspective when viewed up close in Sutton Place or from afar on the skyline; it is both contextual and striking. It was also crucial for us to create not just a skyscraper, but a home. Even with its powerful presence, the building still provides an intimate sanctuary upon entry — somewhere you can truly live.”

The tallest residential tower along Manhattan's East Side waterfront, Sutton Tower is a defining New York address boasting unrivaled views and dynamic design inside and out by the celebrated designer Thomas Juul-Hansen. Standing 850 feet, Sutton Tower represents the first skyscraper in the world by Juul-Hansen and harkens back to a bygone era of architecture with its unparalleled craftsmanship. The tower is fully clad in Bavarian limestone, a feat rarely seen in today’s construction, and the distinctive crown is a pale gold frieze of geometric facets that catches changing light during the day. The building’s base is designed to seamlessly blend with the existing historic architecture of Sutton Place while the windows transition to more expansive glass apertures as the tower rises.

Sutton Tower offers 120 one- to five-bedroom homes, all designed as corner residences, with only three homes at most per floor. All homes feature a minimum of two exposures and select full-floor and duplex penthouse residences offer south-facing outdoor loggias. The elegant homes feature expansive ceilings up to 15 feet and oversized windows that provide sweeping views of the New York City skyline and East River waterfront while bathing the spaces in abundant natural light. Elevated design elements include ebonized oak entry doors and custom wainscoting. The attention to detail continues into the kitchens with Statuarietto marble islands featuring curved edges, as well as Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances surrounded by custom Italkraft cabinetry and pulls. Bathrooms feature radiant heated floors, Laufen soaking tubs and curved sinks carved from single blocks of Bianco Dolomiti marble.

Residents enjoy access to the Sutton Club, the building’s five-floor amenity collection designed by Juul-Hansen. Spanning 22,000 square feet, the collection provides fitness, lifestyle and leisure spaces and embodies the Upper East Side’s tradition of grand entertaining. All amenities are above ground and infused with natural light. Amenities include a skylit club lounge with an outdoor terrace, plush screening room with custom sofas, wet bar and cinema-level audio-visual system, formal dining room seating up to 14 and adjacent chef’s kitchen. The Sutton Club also features a library, game room, children’s playroom, casual dining lounge and sports simulator. The health and wellness center features a spectacular 50-foot swimming pool flanked by a whirlpool, spa treatment room, infrared saunas, showers and changing rooms, while the state-of-the-art fitness center is complete with top-of-the-line equipment as well as boxing and movement studios.

Pricing begins at $1.825 million and offers sought-after opportunities for purchasers seeking complete and move-in-ready homes.
