Light and space play a fundamental role in this 140 sqm apartment located in the heart of Milan. Thanks to the inclusion of large arches covered in black iron, new perspectives and new points of view are recreated. The arch, which recalls the entrance of the building, is a portal capable of inviting, protecting, and shielding: through mirrored doors or glass, it marks the rhythm of the house, accompanying rituals and guests in the space. The apartment is characterized by a large living area from which you can access a study through two mirrored doors, which open or close, play with the perception of space. The original floors have been preserved through a restoration: parquet in the living room and in the bedroom and graniglia tiles in the entrance and corridor. Thanks to the choice of finishes, the master bathroom is a green shell, with terrazzo floor and walls. The mirrored cupboards in the hallway, the bed with built-in wardrobe in the guest room and the bookcases in the studio were designed by Locatelli Partners. Together with customers, the most important furnishings were chosen, such as the lights, the Allure O’ table and the Camaleonda sofa by B&B. The result is a solution with a remarkable scenic impact, characterized by arched passages covered with iron.

La luce e lo spazio giocano un ruolo fondamentale all’interno di questo pluricale di 140 mq situato nel cuore di Milano. Grazie all’inserimento di grandi archi rivestiti in ferro nero, vengono ricreate inedite prospettive e nuovi punti di vista. L’arco, che richiama l’ingresso del palazzo, è un portale capace di invito, protezione e schermatura: tramite porte a specchio o vetro cannettato, scandisce il ritmo della casa, accompagnando i rituali e gli ospiti nello spazio. L’appartamento è caratterizzato da un’ampia zona giorno da cui si accede a uno studio tramite due porte a specchio, che aprendosi o chiudendosi, giocano con la percezione degli spazi. Mediante un intervento di recupero, sono stati preservati i pavimenti originali: parquet in soggiorno e in camera da letto e piastrelle in graniglia in ingresso e corridoio. Grazie alla scelta delle finiture, il bagno padronale è un involucro color verde, con pavimento e pareti in terrazzo. Le armadiature in specchio del corridoio, il letto con armadio integrato della camera ospiti e le librerie dello studio sono stati disegnati da Locatelli Partners. Insieme ai clienti sono stati scelti gli arredi più importanti, come le luci, il tavolo Allure O’ e il divano Camaleonda di B&B. Il risultato è una soluzione dal notevole impatto scenico, caratterizzata da passaggi ad arco dall’imbotte in ferro.
