MOUNTAIN HOUSE, BAQUEIRA BERET | VERONICA MIMOUN STUDIO

Newly built house in Baqueira Beret. Pleta de Arriu is located in the heart of Baqueira, the most extensive, modern and exclusive ski resort in the Pyrenees with spectacular views of the Aran Valley.

The house has an area of 450m2, located at the foot of the slopes, has 5 floors with elevator and parking for 3 cars.

 Main floor

 Foyer

Made of oak wood and slate pieces. Behind a closet for guests' coats, we are welcomed by a custom lacquered bench and a custom mirror.

From the foyer we access the main floor where we find the living room on two levels.

Living and Dining Room

The staircase made with iron bars painted in corten color works as a link between the floors.

We distributed the living room to invite large family gatherings. Taking advantage of the double height, to install the sculptural pendant lamp of Vibia, Algorithm.

Custom designed sofas and armchairs with fabrics from Jab Anstoetz and Crevin.

Coffee table made with pieces of trunk joined together. All on top of the Monasch rug by Best Wool Carpets.

Between the two swivel armchairs, BMB's Eileen table with a black brushed oak top and a nickel bronze lacquered frame.

Three Gervasoni Brick stools complete the room in front of the fireplace.

Framing the living room, the Noctambule floor lamp by Flos, allows a visual division between the living room and the dining room.

For cozy winter dinners, Concorde dining table by Poliform, with wooden structure and generously sized emperor brown marble top. The chairs are upholstered with Chivasso fabric by Jab Anstoetz.

The tableware cabinet was designed and made to measure and lacquered in the same color as the fabric of the chairs.

Upper floor

On the upper floor we find the master bedroom with en suite bathroom.

Highlighted the colorful mountain, bed with headboard made to measure with fabrics of Güell Lamadrid.

The bedside tables are designed in rol wood and iron with a drawer.

Flos lamps model Tacha adds a fun touch.

Decorative cushions made with Muirfield fabrics from Les Créations de la Maison and a caldera-colored blanket from Mantas Ezcaray make the bedroom the perfect space in which to rest.

All on a white merino wool rug.

We include a small reading area with a small armchair upholstered with Cord Uno fabric from Jab Anstoetz and a Tab floor lamp from Flos.

From the living room we access the next floor where 3 complete bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are distributed.  Each bedroom has been designed so that they are totally different from each other and transmit a desirable sense of calm and tranquility.

Guest Bedroom 1

The first bedroom features a custom-made bed with Elmer fabric by Romo in the sofa combined with the Kemble model in the headboard.

The black and white contrast is softened with the color notes of the textile accessories in the form of cushions with Touareg fabric by Güell Lamadrid and President by Carlucci along with the wool blanket by Mantas Ezcaray in olive green.

On the sides of the bed, custom designed and made bedside tables, all on Stockholm rug by Best Wool Carpets.

The Marset Dipping table lamps in amber color.

Guest Bedroom 2

In this bedroom, custom made double bed upholstered with Brejos fabric by James Malone, decorative cushions made with London fabric by Güell Lamadrid and Marinsky fabric by James Malone as well as blanket by Mantas Ezcaray.

Table lamp model Fa by Gofi.

All on a custom made rug in matching shades of Best Wool Carpets.

Guest Bedroom 3

In the third bedroom we designed an end-to-end headboard with twin beds upholstered with Romo's Nesma fabric and Güell Lamadrid's Tulum in the canapés.

The decorative pillows with Marinsky fabric from James Malone and Furious in blue from Güell Lamadrid.

The blankets are the Stitches model by Mantas Ezcaray, the Tripod bedside table by Ethnicraft and the matching Constanzina lamp by Luceplan in blue tones.

In this bedroom, the Berlin rug from Best Wool Carpets.

From this floor, there is access to the lower floor with gym, children's bedroom and the service area.

Gym

The gym equipped with Technogym machines is an open space overlooking the English garden that brings a great luminosity to the space.  Its walls lined with oak wood provide warmth and enhances the feeling of well-being that the practice of sport generates. Yu floor lamp by Louis Poulsen.

The gym has a TG Bike, a weightlifting bench, a set of weights from 4kg to 20kgs and a treadmill model TG Run.

Children's Bedroom

Designed for the maximum number of children and friends to enjoy, we designed a set of three bunk beds with capacity for 8 people. 

Bunk beds made of MDF lacquered in ecru color to match the tone of the walls.  In each bunk, reading light Ledtube model of Marset.

From the garage, there is straight acces tot he ski room, a must in this house.

With all the necessary amenities, black Corian bench and non-slip carpet.
