HOUSE B2 is located in the province of Bergamo, surrounded by the green hills of Cenate Sotto.

The project aims to create a contemporary two-family house that dialogues harmoniously with the surrounding environment. By reinterpreting the local architecture, the building takes shape in a compact volume topped with a pitched roof of pure geometry. The volume of the building is sculpted by terraces and full-height openings that define the four facades.

The facades are designed as free compositions within a clear and evident tectonic system. Each facade is treated differently, ensuring the best views from the inside and carefully studying the perspectives from which the house can be observed in its context.

The pitched roof constitutes the most distinctive element of the composition. The pronounced overhang on each side gives lightness and autonomy to the element, allowing the building to blend with the landscape and the sky. The architectural purity of this element is achieved through the study of specific details, such as concealed rainwater pipes.

The interior is divided into two independent apartments, one per floor, as requested by the clients. The living area is the driver of the interior space organization, designed as a flexible and open space with various uses and possibilities. The interiors are characterized by essential minimalism, featuring full-height doors and windows. The pure geometries of the spaces, avoiding decorations, are enriched by the use of authentic materials with unique textures. The meeting points between the different surfaces offer the possibility of elegant details that constitute the true ornamentation of these interiors, such as the joint between the ceiling and the wall, and the wall and the floor, resolved elegantly through a continuous reveal.

The cutting-edge building systems have been skillfully integrated without altering the minimalist aesthetics of the interiors. Among various solutions, the advanced ceiling radiant panel system serves as the actual false ceiling, while air circulation is ensured through the reveal between the wall and the ceiling, avoiding the need for intrusive grilles or elements.

HOUSE B2 si trova in provincia di Bergamo, immersa nel verde delle colline di Cenate Sotto.

Il progetto mira a creare una casa bifamiliare contemporanea che dialoghi armoniosamente con l'ambiente circostante. Reinterpretando l'architettura locale, l'edificio prende forma in un volume compatto sormontato da un tetto a falde con geometrie essenziali. Il volume dell'edificio è scolpito da terrazzi e aperture a tutta altezza che ne definiscono le quattro facciate.

Le facciate sono pensate come libere composizioni all'interno di un sistema tettonico chiaro ed evidente. Ogni facciata è trattata in modo diverso, garantendo la migliore vista dall'interno e studiando attentamente le prospettive da cui si può osservare la casa nel suo contesto.

Il tetto a falde costituisce l'elemento più distintivo della composizione. Lo sbalzo pronunciato su ciascun lato conferisce leggerezza e autonomia all'elemento, permettendo all'edificio di fondersi con il paesaggio e il cielo. La purezza architettonica di questo elemento è ottenuta attraverso lo studio di dettagli specifici, come i pluviali nascosti.

L'interno è suddiviso in due appartamenti indipendenti, uno per piano, come richiesto dai clienti. La zona giorno è il motore dell'organizzazione dello spazio interno, concepito come uno spazio flessibile e aperto con molteplici usi e possibilità. Gli interni sono caratterizzati da un minimalismo essenziale, caratterizzati da porte e finestre a tutta altezza. Le geometrie pure degli spazi, senza decorazioni, sono arricchite dall'utilizzo di materiali autentici dalle texture uniche. I punti di incontro tra le diverse superfici offrono la possibilità di eleganti dettagli che costituiscono il vero ornamento di questi interni, come l'incastro tra soffitto e parete, tra parete e pavimento, risolti elegantemente attraverso uno scuretto continuo.

Gli impianti con tecnologie d'avanguardia sono stati sapientemente integrati senza alterare l'estetica minimalista degli interni. Tra le varie soluzioni, l'evoluto sistema a pannelli radianti a soffitto funge da vero e proprio controsoffitto, mentre la circolazione dell'aria è assicurata attraverso le fughe tra parete e soffitto, evitando la necessità di griglie o elementi invadenti.
