The intervention involves redeveloping the entire area, opening it up to the city and transforming the square into a multifunctional space, providing an ideal location for a range of different activities. The space is modulated through a series of large concrete platforms that create new connections between the existing levels, with the flight of steps becoming an amphitheater with extensive views of the park. An extended ramp creates barrier-free access to the park below, bringing to light the castle ruins, while the area that is currently abandoned becomes an extension of the garden.
