This project is a liquor retail store, a joint venture between the Japanese brand Suntory and the Chinese brand Jieqiang, situated on the first floor of the historic "Deyi Building." The design blends retro, Shanghainese, and Japanese styles, honoring the building’s heritage while preserving its unique features. By incorporating iconic elements from the Japanese Suntory Brewery, our design embodies the spirit of cultural exchange between China and Japan. Furthermore, using natural materials emphasizes our commitment to sustainability while evoking Suntory’s alcoholic products sourced from nature.
