This time the story of the apartment was inspired by the location of the property and at the same time the lifestyle of a young family. The proposed apartment is located near the extensive Divoká Šárka nature reserve in the Prague 6 district.

We follow the intention of creating a peaceful retreat, so we use natural materials in their natural and delicate form. An important motif is clay plaster with a cut (for us, a symbol of vast steppes), in a light color, which gives the traditional material a modern look. It is combined with light wood on vertical furniture surfaces (for us, a symbol of tree trunks in the forest), where we will use the wood pattern in a vertical form to support and optically raise the ceilings and give the apartment an airy feel. We suggest a neutral light color for the floor, as well as the ceilings. We choose a warm light gray color for the floor, white ceiling. This creates a contrast between the walls and the floor and ceiling, which visually increases the space even further. At the same time, the light floor pleasantly reflects the light entering the apartment. In the material combination, we also work with stone (symbolizing rocks) in the form of a stone slab on the kitchen counter, or in other places and small decorations such as kitchen handles. In simplicity, we add a color accent of pink like a blooming summer meadow.

And like the rising sun, we blend small brass details...handles, batteries. The river is prescribed to us in the interior using the structured glass of the kitchen cabinets (which subtly covers and unifies the diversity of the contents inside).
We wrap all this in a minimalist form so that the story remains hidden at a second glance.

What the clients appreciate most: Spatial cleanliness and airiness even after all the family's belongings have been moved in - we achieved this with a large number of hidden storage spaces, wardrobes, wall coverings and doors merge into one whole, and it is therefore not visible where one function ends and another begins. We literally used every square centimeter. There are no standard doors to disturb you in the main living area, so the family's personal space is hidden from visitors. All things and functions have their exact place. In the apartment, we designed minimalist bathrooms, but two separate ones. The bathroom next to the bedroom also has its own toilet. The separate toilet is next to the children's bathroom. The apartment has two spacious glazed balconies, which are waiting for our intervention and will add another space with a view of the greenery.
