Lavorare in un ambiente bello e orientato alle esigenze

L'ala officina del centro sociale Trayah di Brunico doveva essere trasformata e ampliata. Roland Baldi Architects ha demolito l'edificio esistente fino al limite superiore del soffitto del piano terra e ha aggiunto due nuovi piani. Il nuovo volume è stato realizzato in struttura leggera in legno secondo lo standard A CasaClima, mentre il tetto a capanna leggermente asimmetrico riprende il linguaggio dell' esistente e lo connette. Le finestre a nastro circostanti, alcune delle quali attraversano gli angoli, la struttura esterna uniforme della facciata e la scala esterna conferiscono alla nuova ala dell'officina un'identità riconoscibile da lontano. Poiché nelle sale di lavoro e di terapia si svolge un'ampia gamma di attività e gli utenti hanno esigenze particolari, è stata data particolare importanza anche al design degli interni. Il risultato è un luogo di lavoro attraente e moderno in cui le persone con disabilità possono ora lavorare in modo eccellente e orientato alle esigenze.

Needs-oriented, aesthetically executed

Roland Baldi Architects undertook the conversion of the workshop wing of the Trayah social center in Bruneck/Brunico. The project employed a lightweight timber construction in compliance with standard A of the ‘Casa Clima’ regulations. Featuring a twisted hipped roof, circumferential window frames and a uniformly textured façade, the workshop wing has now been charged with clean lines which imbue the space with liveliness and identity. In combination with an interior design adapted to the needs of the centre’s users, an attractive and modern workplace has been created in which people with disabilities are supported according to their individual needs.

Bedürfnisorientiert schöner Werken

 Der Werkstättentrakt des Sozialzentrum Trayah in Bruneck sollte umgebaut und erweitert werden. Roland Baldi Architects haben das bestehende Gebäude bis zur Oberkante der Erdgeschossdecke abgebrochen und um zwei neue Geschosse erweitert. Das neue Volumen wurde in  Leicht-  bzw. in Holzbauweise im Klimahaus-Standard A realisiert, das leicht modifizierte und verdrehte Walmdach greift die Sprache des Bestandes auf und verbindet ihn. Die umlaufenden, teilweise über Eck verlaufenden Fensterbänder, die einheitliche äußere Textur der Fassade sowie die außenliegende Treppe verleihen dem neuen Werkstättentrakt eine von weitem ablesbare Identität. Da in den Arbeits- und Therapieräumen vielfältige Tätigkeiten ausgeführt werden, und die Nutzer:innen besondere Bedürfnisse haben, wurde auch auf die Innenausstattung besonderer Wert gelegt. So ist eine attraktive und moderne Arbeitsstätte entstanden, in der Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung ab sofort bedürfnisorientiert schöner Werken.
