Liqui provided a complete office design and build service for this private investment fund office located in Pall Mall, London. This included: start-to-finish project management; interior design and office fit out; bespoke furniture design and manufacture; the procurement of additional furniture, lighting, curtains, and accessories; reframing of existing artwork; and bespoke joinery for cabinets, fixtures, and wall panels. We gave our asset management clients a complete ‘concept to completion’ service – delivering a fully finished, high-end office design and build ready for them to move into and start work.

The workspace design included a downstairs office with two blocks of bench desks, a small reception area, and a recessed kitchen. Behind that is a relaxed meeting room/breakout area through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Upstairs is the executive private office and boardroom combined.

Our design studio and workshop worked together to design and make the bespoke joinery for a variety of furniture, lighting, and fixtures. In the upstairs executive office and boardroom we created a custom desk in walnut veneer with an inset leather top. It features a side drawer unit with a top that overlaps and floats above the main desk section. In the centre of the room is the bespoke boardroom table. Down the length of one wall is a row of sideboards with acoustic panelling above featuring a long integral magazine rack. On the opposite wall is a one-off memorabilia display case. All these items are bespoke to this interior.

The downstairs office area has our own desking system which features hidden cable trays secreted under removable desktop covers (as does the executive desk and boardroom table upstairs). There are room dividers in the form of planters to partially separate the desking area together with more cabinets for files. The sofa, easy chairs, sideboards, and coffee table in the meeting room are all designed and made by Liqui. We also reframed existing artwork, updating it to tie in with the overall look of this modern office design. All cabinets throughout the office interior are fully lockable for the security of sensitive material.

By close collaboration with our clients, we better understand their specific needs and requirements. We can offer advice to inform their decision-making and provide guidance throughout the whole office design and build process. We start with a site visit, followed through by an accurate, measured survey which our office designers then use to produce detailed 3D plans of the workspace. These are then used to work out our initial office designs and create photo-realistic renders to show the client. Any amendments required by the client are then undertaken and a final set of renders presented to show the client exactly what their finished office interior design will look like.

After approval, design intent drawings are produced for our fit out team to work from. They will undertake any demolition, office refurbishment, and decoration to the highest standard. Our craftspeople will manufacture any custom furniture, lighting, and bespoke joinery elements required. Our fully equipped workshop facilities include a highly accurate CNC machine, as well as an array of other joinery tools and a large spray booth. We are also able to create steel structures and metal elements when required. We will manage the procurement of any additional furniture, lighting, accessories, fixtures and fittings specified by our interior designers. If any signage is needed we’ll either manufacture it ourselves or source it accordingly.
