Atelier R
Paris / France / 2011

This building was the "Atelier" of the famous woman impressionist painter Berthe Morisot in Paris.
While the place had to remain unchanged from the outside, the project was to add a new space under the roof.
As a result, we created a suspended floor, just a little downer than the old ceiling.
The concept was to act without interfering to the global looks the spaces. It's about the visibility / invisibility of the architectural gesture.
