Tíe bamboo-paper chair (eng)
ENG - Tíe represents the 2nd edition of our last exhibited paper chair. This furniture describs a further step of how to turn a weightless material like paper into a stable and organic solid form. The process is ispired by the Yuhang Paper Umbrella handcraft.
The whole shell is made from irregular shaped rice paper sheets. The shape of the chair is ispired by the classical Chinese horseshoe-back armchair.
