Fresh restaurant | Sundukovy Sisters (S+S) Interior Design Studio

August 2012 first in Russia and fourth in the world “Fresh” restaurant was opened in the center of Moscow on the Bolshaya Dmitrovka 11. The Founder - Ruth Tal has been promoting her idea of "cool and not boring" healthy nutrition and lifestyle for more than 20 years. Moscow "Fresh's" interior design was developed by "Sundukovy Sisters" studio founded by Olga and Irina Sundukovy. Minimalistic interior made of natural decor materials - brickwork of the 19th century modern concrete old boards from Russian villages covering the walls and ceiling opened ventilation and author's lamps. Furniture is as simple as functional: smart mix of "style icons" chairs from Eames with simple ones made of plywood in Latvia combined with tables with small hooks for visitor's bags which are actually handmade specially for "Fresh" by "Sundukovy Sisters" design. Name worthy that big wooden wall was painted in ultra green by designers themselves as well as sofa's textile design - it was hand made by "Sundukovy Sisters". Of course "Fresh" restaurant suppose to have a little piece of nature - there is vertical garden covering one of the walls. That vivid touch really differs from the rest of "Fresh" restaurant design which is crafted in a way - "if we can skip it - let's cut it". Olga and Irina Sundukovy aimed to create simple and honest interior - just as "Fresh's" healthy and honest food is. At the same time they designed the interior which breaks the sectarianism idea of vegetarian food that sounds like "meat-eaters are not belong here". In opposite 80% of Canadian Fresh restaurants' visitors are non-vegetarian. They are just people who make their choice towards healthy and tasty food. Therefore "Sundukovy Sisters" managed to harmonize this healthy idea with irresistibly tasty food in their unique interior design of "Fresh" restaurant.
