Building for Exposure

BUILDING FOR EXPOSURE, Albenga Surface: 550 mq - floor -1: 220 mq - floor 0: 180 mq - floor +1: 150 mq The building project is based on the concept of conformity with the surrounding area, inspired by the typical greenhouses that identify most part of the flat territory of Albenga. The building, made almost completely of glass, is divided in three levels: a store and two exhibition floors. In the basement, accessible by a separate entrance, is located the parking area and the store. In the ground floor is the main area of exposure and sales, near the directional office. The first floor is also the area of exposure, connected to the private meeting room. The large ceiling windows that characterized the building, put the internal spaces in close connection with the outdoor, showing (although simply passing) the wide range of products of the most prestigious brands in high-technology, such as Honda and Husqvarna. Project by Paolo Frello Collaborator: Marco Vignati Photo by Fabio Lombrici Il progetto dell’edificio si basa sul concetto di conformità con il territorio circostante, ispirato alle tipiche serre che identificano gran parte del territorio pianeggiante albenganese. Il fabbricato, realizzato quasi interamente in vetro, si articola su tre livelli: un deposito e due piani espositivi. Nel seminterrato, accessibile da un ingresso indipendente, si colloca la zona parcheggio e magazzino. Nel piano terra si sviluppa la principale zona di esposizione e di vendita, affiancata dall’ufficio direzionale. Il primo piano è anch’esso zona d’esposizione, abbinata ad una riservata sala riunioni. Le ampie vetrate a tutt’altezza che segnano gran parte dell’edificio, pongono in stretta comunicazione gli spazi esterni con quelli interni, esibendo e rivelando (anche se di semplice passaggio) l’ampia gamma di fornitura e commercializzazione dei più prestigiosi marchi ad alta tecnologia, come Honda e Husqvarna.
