The erosive action of the water and the saltiness on the Venetian marbles, from the stairs to the columns, is reproduced on a table lamp, realized in extremely thin white marble. The work of the machine, which slowly gave shape to the piece, is alternated to the able hand of the craftsman. The peculiar texture is enhanced when the LED light inside the lamp is switched on. Like the action of the water on the Venetian marbles, the surface is irregular on the base, and it becomes gradually smoother towards the top of the lamp. The project has been developed with the help of Ermenegildo Sartori, a craftsman from the Venetian area.
