What’s in a chair, you ask? It’s a simple piece of furniture that involves a lot – chair design takes into account form, function, ergonomics, size and durability. The idea of a base chair goes from two main meanings. One is the concept of a baseball. This idea is represented in the finishing of the Base Chair. The second meaning is that our chair is very simple as a basical chair and beatiful as an art piece. After analyzing the motion we have got an idea to separate the two main elements in the chair (base part and back part) and make the back of the chair moveable. A design classic featuring a rod which attaches the back of the chair to the frame thus allowing the angle of tilt to change as the user shifts position giving him continuous support.
