Tolda Nave Blu all'Acquario di Genova - Blue Ship deck at the Genoa Aquarium

E’ stato inaugurato 26 Luglio il nuovo Padiglione Cetacei dell’Acquario di Genova! Un progetto di grandi dimensioni e prestigio ideato da Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Contestualmente è stato riaperto il Padiglione Biodiversità all’interno della Nave Blu, la punta estrema dell’Acquario che offre agli ospiti un incredibile panorama a 360° del Porto Antico e della città abbracciata dalle colline. Per il ripristino del decking sulla tolda della Nave è stato approvato il legno composito Plasticwood.it. In questo importante investimento Costa Edutainment, proprietaria dei 4 principali Acquari d’Italia (Genova, Cattolica, Livorno e Cala Gonone), non poteva trascurare la necessità di ridare valore anche alla tolda della Nave Blu, la quale ospita, oltre al percorso espositivo, eventi di migliaia di persone e dove il legno naturale posato in precedenza aveva perso sensibilmente l’impatto estetico originale. Plasticwood.it è un prodotto innovativo al 100% Made in Italy, con ottime caratteristiche di resistenza agli agenti atmosferici che permette l’abbattimento dei tempi e costi di manutenzione nel rispetto dell’ambiente. It was on July 26th the opening ceremony of the new Cetaceans Pavilion of the Genoa Aquarium! A great and prestigious project designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop. At the same time it was reopened the Biodiversity Pavilion inside the Blue Ship, the last edge of the Aquarium where the guests can enjoy the amazing 360° panorama over the Antique Port and the city surrounded from the hills. To renovate the decking of the Ship deck was approved the Plasticwood.it composite wood. In this important investment Costa Edutainment, owner of the 4 major Aquariums in Italy (Genoa, Cattolica, Livorno and Cala Gonone), could not overlook the need to restore value to the deck of the Blue Ship, which hosts, in addition to the exhibition itinerary, events of thousands of people and where the natural wood had lost significantly the original aesthetic impact.
