A' Design Award and Competition aims to highlight the excellent qualifications of best designs, design concepts and design oriented products worldwide.
A' Design Awards is a annual juried design competition that honors the best designers, architects, engineers, design studios and design oriented companies worldwide to provide them publicity, fame and recognition. The competitions are organized and awarded annually and internationally in a wide range of categories. Every year, projects that focus on innovation, technology, design and creativity are awarded with the A' Award.
The contest is open to participation from local and international companies, individuals, students and professionals. Designers, students and professional individuals can only submit their own designs. New concept design stage products and designs created specifically for the competition are eligable.
Last years winners include in the category "Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design Award " Le Cube Sofa by Rob Van Puijenbroek for Le Puji (2011), in "Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award" Black and White house (Kuwait) design by the spanish studio AGi architects and in "Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award" Forte Nanshan design by One plus partnership.
It is possible submit your project on the A' Design Awards website by 28 February 2013. Winners will be notified on 7 March 2013 and will announce the results on 15 April 2013.
