Tom Chudleigh, the designer and builder of Free Spirit Spheres Inc., studied biology at the University of Calgary for 4 years. Then studied Power Engineering for another 4 years and worked/taught Power Engineer for 15 years.
Over the years Tom built boats, buildings and many structures in various mediums. He learned how to work with wood, metals, plastics and fibreglass along the way. We have incorporated all of these materials into our spheres. Being able to build all of our own designs gives us incredible freedom and control over the appearance of the finished product. Our spheres have a gsteam punkh or Jules Verne feel to them.
