Versseput Architects does not work with style choices made in advance: a project comes about following thorough research on the context and after extensive consultation with the principal and users. Versseput Architects has been around for more than twenty years and has created a very convincing body of work that breathes dedication. In bygone years, Versseput Architects realised a number of notable projects: the restoration and renovation of the Dick Bruna House and the museum shop for the Central Museum Utrecht, the first hostel for alcohol addicts at the Hogelanden in Utrecht and pop clubs Gebouw T in Bergen op Zoom and Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen. Recently, the renovation and restoration of the BoekhovenBosch-complex in Utrecht started, housing project in a former printing office, which will be Utrecht’s first young monument after realisation. All of these are projects with a cultural, social function in which the users of a building are at the very core of the project.
