RECS ARCHITECTS STP
ReCS is a group of international architects, experts in different research fields ranging from architecture to urban planning. The studio was founded in 2011 by Pier Maria Giordani, Mario Scaffardi, Zhen Chen e Antonella Marzi with the aim of bringing together interdisciplinary knowledge into a single professional identity, be¬lieving that the role of the Architecture and of the Architect in the new millennium is too articulated to be run by individual workers.
The long-year experience of the four partners in fundamental urban planning disciplines (urban planner, urban design, mobility strategy, environmental sustainability) allows our studio to be at the forefront of understanding the dynamics that govern the development of the city. These peculiarities make it possible to approach the theme of living in such a way as to correctly identify the criticalities and potentials of individual urban contex¬ts (seen as complex entities composed of different components such as neighborhoods, roads, public spaces, transport, services ...) and on which to work for raising the “quality of life” of the inhabitants, the primary goal of the ReCS Architects philosophy and the last one of all civilian countries that are at the forefront.
The ReCS acronym originated from Re City Size that means Rethink the Size of the City: we imagine urban space as an intelligent, inclusive, viable, sustainable body, participated by its inestimable human capital.
That’s how we see the city of the future, this is our challenge.
ReCS Architects has offices in Parma, Milano, Fortaleza e Dubai.
