Baranowitz & Goldberg Architects

Architect Irene Goldberg & interior architect Sigal Baranowitz have been collaborating as colleagues in many different commercial design projects. After a few years of successful joint work the two decided to establish their own practice and pave a new way constructed of their diverse expertise.
Baranowitz & Goldberg Architects was founded in 2017 and employs 6 architects. Irene & Sigal's comprehensive experience in different fields of design allow the studio's work to vary and include all scales of design. The studio's work includes residential projects both in architecture and interiors as well as commercial spaces including restaurants, retail spaces, showrooms, offices, spas and public spaces. In addition to architecture the studio's practice also includes product design under the brand Object - small scale designs - founded initially by Irene Goldberg.
Whether it be a product or a building, finding the story that will ignite the creative process is the leading principle of their work. The studio's projects are characterized with a playful balance between art and design while adhering to strict yet poetic principles of proportion, and a true integration between conceptual thought and functionalism.
The two believe that when creativity is formulated within a strong conceptual framework it can turn to both unpredictable yet coherent directions and the studio's goal is to allow each project to pave its way toward a unique architectural interpretation.
