RUBELLI
Rubelli is an Italian brand specializing in the production and marketing of textiles, wall coverings and furniture accessories. The company is part of the Rubelli Group, which also includes the Rubelli Casa and Kieffer brands, and is based in Venice. In the lagoon city, the Rubelli family is known for its trade in fine fabrics and trimmings, as evidenced by the documents, tools and artifacts preserved in the Rubelli Foundation Historical Museum, housed in the Ca' Pisani Rubelli palace, the family's century-old home. Rubelli has always been synonymous with tradition, quality craftsmanship and luxury, as evidenced by orders for Queen Margherita of Savoy, or collaborations with designers and artists of the caliber of Gio Ponti, Vittorio Zecchin and Alfredo Carnelutti. Rubelli fabrics cover upholstery for the Princess cruise ship, the Teatro la Fenice in Venice, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, just to name a few prestigious collaborations. Rubelli proves to be a company that is always in step with the times, as evidenced by collaborations with contemporary designers, for example, Paolo Emanuele Nava and Luca Maria Arosio, Peter Marino, and Luke Edward Hall. Today Rubelli is present in more than 90 countries with showrooms and an extensive distribution network.

Rubelli: fine, technical and designer fabrics

Rubelli's catalog offers a wide and varied selection, from canvases to handmade fabrics. The company makes the fabrics using the latest generation of looms, supplemented by 3 original 18th-century looms, from which the fine silk velvets come out. The Frammenti Veneziani collection consists of various types of fabrics and re-proposes materials and patterns that are part of the lagoon tradition. The collection includes plain-colored fabrics such as SHADOW cotton velvet, declined in 36 shades, precious damask fabrics such as QUEEN, woven on a silk ground with gold foil yarn, or fabrics printed with motifs created by well-known artists including SALLY, a design by painter Sally Anne Fitter, or VENICELAND, a design by Mexican set designer and illustrator Gabriel Pacheco. Also in the Venetian Fragments collection, the GRAND AMOUR jacquard fabric is inspired by a small fragment preserved in the Rubelli archives. The exquisite floral pattern, made from deep pink and bright green silk yarns, stands out against the ivory satin ground. From the past to the present, with the technical fabric ZELDA, in solid color, available in 38 colors and featuring a micro pattern that exploits the shiny-matte contrast. The Love Affair collection offers the MAGICO MEXICO fabric, designed by Gabriel Pacheco, with fantastical and colorful plant and animal subjects, flanked by the delicate floral motifs inspired by an eighteenth-century silk fragment of the LADY BLOOM cotton fabric. The Love Affair collection also offers technical fabrics for every need, such as the flame-retardant tweed FABTHIRTY+, declined in 60 colors and suitable for outodoor, or the acoustic curtain fabric NONOISE, characterized by sound-absorbing properties and offered in solid colors in a light, neutral palette. The SAINT-ÉTIENNE printed fabric pays homage to the traditional ribbon production typical of the French city, reproducing an elegant 3D-effect geometric woven pattern.

Rubelli's fabric wallcoverings

The Rubelli catalog also offers a range of fabric wall coverings in vinyl material and paper laminated with nonwoven fabric. Many of the motifs offered represent vinyl versions of the fabric namesakes, allowing for matching interiors. The Wonder Walls collection offers a range of traditionally inspired motifs alternating with contemporary suggestions. The printed wallpaper DÉJEUNER SUR L'HERBE recalls the famous painting by nineteenth-century French painter Édouard Manet, while the wallpaper JAVA WALL picks up on a Japanese-inspired motif already used in the Java fabric in the catalog. Geometric motifs that render a medieval-style two-dimensional representation of the lagoon cityscape characterize BURANO WALL wallpaper, declined in multicolor and pastel versions. Elegant and refined is the AQUARIUS WALL series, a vinyl version of the jacquard of the same name, which offers a marble-effect pattern, declined in Gold, Water and Copper colors. The SWING WALL fabric effect wallpaper approaches a more contemporary style, with its abstract geometric patterns and the contrast between glossy and matte parts. It is made of non-woven linen and viscose fabric the STUOIA WALL wall covering, which is perfectly suited to ethnic-inspired environments, while the weave reproduced on the embossed vinyl of the OPUS WALL wall covering is reminiscent of a delicate mosaic, declined in the colors Mother of Pearl, Sand, Wood, Silver, Lime and Slate.
