PAPUNDEKL ARCHITEKTI studio was founded in Prague in 2017 by Jan Bárta and Marek Fischer, graduates of Jan Šépka's studio at the CTU.
In our work we look for conceptual solutions with an emphasis on space, material and detail. We try to create designs that are rational and affordable, yet fresh, using unusual construction methods or interesting materials. We design houses, cities or interiors.
Since 2017, we have worked on the transformation of the Prague Exhibition Centre, where a modular pavilion was built in 2020 based on our design, for which we won the Czech award for architecture 2021. We regularly participate in competitions - last year we won a competition for the revitalization of public spaces in village Svatý Jan pod Skalou. In the private sector, we design family houses, interiors and recently we have completed an extensive reconstruction of a residential villa in Prague's Vinohrady district. Our current work also includes cooperation with several Czech municipalities.
