Hugo Toro is an architect and interior architect from eastern France, holding dual Mexican and French citizenship.

He holds a dual Master's degree from Los Angeles and Vienna. He graduated top of his class from the Penninghen school in Paris.

At 33 years old, this hyperactive multi-talented individual already has impressive accomplishments to his name, including renowned restaurants such as Gigi Ramatuelle and Gigi Paris, as well as the Midland Dining room at St Pancras station in London and Villa Albertine in NYC, just to name a few recent examples.

From a young age, he had a passion for building, inventing, and paying attention to detail and equipment in the cabins he envisioned.

His influences span both sides of the Atlantic, as well as South America. The Art Deco period holds significant importance in his preferences, and he appreciates the attention to detail in the work of Austrian architect Otto Wagner and the use of color and texture by Luis Barragán.

Hugo Toro is also interested in drawing and has recently created his first furniture collection in collaboration with Kholkoze and M Editions, which was showcased at Christie's in mid-May 2022.

He now heads his own studio, employing nearly twenty people, and works on projects such as restaurants in Paris, London, and Dubai, hotels in Rome and Cannes, apartments in the Paris region, and private mansions.
